I can’t read what I am writing is a 13 hour video work that shows me trying to read sentences translated from Dutch to Arabic by google translate. The video work aims to show the frustration and Perseverance that comes by trying to learn a language that was suppose to be yours but feels extremely foreighn to you by yourself. It highlights the beauty of Arabic calligraphy.
